Welcome to Faith, Family, and Farm Life

Updated: Sep 14, 2021

A few of our ladies, enjoying cubes.
I would like to start this first post by saying, thank you! Thank you for visiting my blog, and I hope you will come back and enjoy future posts!

I'd like to give you a little bit of insight as to why I chose the name, "Faith, Family, and Farm Life" for my blog. It's pretty simple and it is the three things that mean the most to me in my life.

Faith is first because without our good Lord and Jesus Christ, none of this would be possible. It is through Him and His grace and sacrifice that we are able to live the life we have. Not just that, but through the salvation that He gave us when He sacrificed His own son for our sins, we are fortunate enough to have eternal life in Heaven when our time on earth comes to an end. God has done incredible things throughout my life, and even when things are tough, it is important to give glory and thanks to Him, always remembering that He has a plan for us and will get us through whatever challenge we face.

Family comes second because next to my faith, my family is my everything. I can't imagine a life without my husband and our little girl. I can call her little for the moment.. but someday I promise you she'll be taller than me! Our family may be small, but together we make big memories (most of them involving life on the farm). We aren't big travelers or adventurers, but we love spending time with the rest of our family, too. We are also blessed to have the majority of our immediate family living anywhere from 10 minutes to 2 hours away, and that is something we don't take for granted.

Farm life takes third place, but it is not last! It's a passion that 10 years ago I had no idea I would have. It's a lifestyle that many don't understand, but it's one my family loves. From slow season to busy season and back again, we wouldn't trade it for anything. Our farm includes wheat, milo, and raising a smaller herd of beef cattle.
